Jan Saunders Maresh is a nationally known journalist and television personality specializing in sewing and home decor. Suzette Smith is owner of Castagio, and has been a Real Estate Investor for the past 7 years, currently managing 3 investment rentals. Being an investor, she has also fixed and flipped, bringing the ability to consult on a remodel to resale by offering her expertise to get the most value when remodeling for resale purposes. Suzette has also built 3 homes, 2 in the U.S. and one in Australia, giving her a wealth of knowledge about home construction.

Born and raised in Provence, in the South of France, in a family of design enthusiasts, Françoise is the principal of “Evans & Associates - Interiors & Staging”, located in the Reno-Tahoe area, which she now calls home.
The rugged natural beauty of the Tahoe area fostered her interest in sustainable design as a means to relate people with the natural environment. Her objective as an educator is to sensitize her audience so they, in turn, can be active participants and produce places, products and services in a way that reduces the use of non-renewable resources and minimizes environmental impact.
She holds degrees in foreign languages and cultures, secondary education and fine arts, which she studied at the Université de Nice-Sophia Antipolis, on the French Riviera and at the Rhodec School of Interior Design.
Françoise is a Certified Interior Redesign Industry Specialist, an Affiliate of the Interior Design Society and an Associate Kitchen & Bath Designer.
Her work earned three awards at the 2006 International IRIS and SDP Conferences, and landed her the prestigious position of lead designer and property staging consultant at Mark Tanner Construction Inc., one of the premier Lake Tahoe custom building firms.
Françoise is well-known in the Lake Tahoe area for her decorating column published in the Sierra Sun and is frequently invited to share her home staging, design and green living tips and wisdom, providing workshops and seminars for Pottery Barn, local community groups, libraries, businesses and colleges in Europe and the United States.
She has made several guest appearances on “Sierra Lifestyles”, Lake Tahoe’s real estate and construction TV show, and is the design expert on the yearly “Mansions and Gardens of Alamos, Sonora, Mexico” tour, organized by Debby Larsen, editor of “Tucson Lifestyle Home & Garden”.
